3SFire is committed to high standards of information security, privacy and transparency to fulfil all its obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation  2018 and Data Protection Act 2018. We place a high priority on protecting and managing data in accordance with the accepted standards including ISO 9001: 2015. The company will comply with applicable Data Protection  regulations, while also working closely with our customers and partners to meet contractual obligations for our procedures and services. Our team will help to support customers in meeting requests they may have. 3SFire Ltd will ensure that all individuals whose details we hold are aware of the way in which that information is held, used, and disclosed and whether the recipients are internal or external  to the company. Furthermore the ‘processing’ within 3SFire will be fair and lawful and individuals will not be misled to the uses of their data.

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect Your Data from misuse, unauthorised or unlawful access or disclosure, loss, alteration, damage or destruction.  We do this by ensuring our computer systems have security, documents and files are password protected and we hold an up to date asset register.

How We Disclosure Your Data

We do not sell, lease, rent or give away Your Data.  We may share your data with sub-contractors who are providing a service for you on our behalf but this data will not be shared by them.

The Right of Access

You have the right to ask if 3SFire are using your personal information and/or why, and/or for a copy of this information. You are only entitled to information about yourself except where you are acting as an appointed agent by the data subject.

To ensure confidentiality 3SFire will request:

3SFire will write to you acknowledging your request and an indication of how long it will take for us to respond to you; this will be within a month. If you have multiple or complex requests then this may take longer but you will be written to letting you know why.

We may have to share your information internally or with the related sub-contractor in order to reply to your request.

 

Retention and deletion

You have the right to request personal information that 3SFire Ltd holds about you to be deleted.

The right of rectification

You have the right to request any inaccurate information to be corrected and/or updated. Evidence will need to be provided for this purpose – for example a marriage certificate would be needed for a change of name through marriage.

 

The right to object

You have the right to request that 3SFire stop processing your information. You must explain why you are exercising this right.
