Animal Rescue Training

The UK consists of many rural and coastal communities. Consequently, firefighters regularly turn their skills to a wide range of different rescues involving pets, livestock, wild and marine animals. The larger species more commonly rescued are horses, cattle, pigs, sheep and deer that find themselves trapped in machinery, bogs, slurry pits, rivers, pools, ditches, or victims of cliff falls and road incidents.

Large animal rescue is recognised as one of the most dangerous activities a firefighter will be engaged in and so specialised training and equipment is essential.

We can provide Animal Rescue training at levels 2 and 3, both of which are 4-day courses, and also AR3 CPD Refresher courses. We constantly develop our courses to meet the needs of our customers and can run bespoke courses for specialist teams if required.
