3SFire CIC Supports Blue Lamp Trust Community Safety Projects
We’re pleased to be supporting the Blue Lamp Trust through funding for two projects that are making a real difference in our communities.
The funding will help deliver Mature Drivers Confidence Building Courses, supporting older motorists to stay safe, confident and independent for longer. It will also support the Trust’s Safe Home initiative, helping vulnerable people access carbon monoxide detectors and raising awareness of a danger that often goes unnoticed.
At 3SFire, we’re proud that the work we do goes beyond our commercial services. As a Community Interest Company, we reinvest our surplus into projects that help keep people safe, well and connected to their communities. Supporting organisations like the Blue Lamp Trust is an important part of that commitment.
“One of the things that makes 3SFire different is that the success of our business creates direct benefits for local communities. We’re pleased to support the Blue Lamp Trust in delivering initiatives that help people stay safe, independent and informed, and we look forward to seeing the impact these projects will have.”

Mature Drivers Confidence Builder Course Grant
“We are very grateful to 3SFire for their generous grant, which will enable us to deliver targeted marketing across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to support the new launch of Mature Drivers Confidence Builder course.
At BLT Driver Training, our vision is to improve road safety for all road users. Older drivers can be particularly vulnerable on our roads, and the Mature Drivers Confidence Builder Course has been designed to provide supportive, practical guidance that helps people maintain their driving confidence, stay safe for longer, and retain their independence.”
Carbon Monoxide Alarms Grant
“We would like to thank 3SFire for their valuable grant funding, which will enable us to purchase and provide additional carbon monoxide alarms free of charge to Safe Home clients.
Carbon monoxide is a silent and potentially deadly gas that can be produced by faulty fuel-burning appliances. Without an alarm, residents may be unaware of a leak in their home, placing them at risk of serious harm.
By increasing our supply of carbon monoxide alarms, we can provide greater protection for vulnerable people across our communities, helping them to stay safe and independent in their own homes.”
Emma Burt, Chief Executive Officer, Blue Lamp Trust
The Blue Lamp Trust has a long track record of supporting people across Hampshire and beyond through practical safety initiatives, education and prevention work. We’re delighted to play a small part in helping these projects reach more people and create a lasting impact.
We look forward to seeing the difference this funding makes and to continuing to support initiatives that help build safer communities for everyone.
